….and finally Bindra gets it for us

It will be amusing to say the least , for many who had followed up with the Indian media in the past few days. The frenzy and the coverage Bhindra got would be more than what even the gold-minter Phelps could dream of. While Phelps is taking his individual tally to 11(at last count), this is the first individual gold medal won by an Indian. The first olympic gold medal after the 1980 hockey finals. All along we have been inching closer to this with occasional bronze medals following up with a silver in the 2004 at Athens and topping it up with a gold at Beijing in 2008.
Investing a fortune in training and having an indoor training centre right in the backyard at your disposal could have been the key difference apart from the exceptional talent !!!!!
Kudos to Abhinav Bhindra for all of what he has achieved.
